Micro-sprayers can be installed on various types of tractor-mounted boom sprayers, self-propelled sprayers, and backpack boom sprayers. Considering the numerous problems associated with conventional sprayers, such as the creation of highly non-uniform particles, excessive water and pesticide consumption, low spray efficiency, and the need for expensive spare parts along with high initial purchase costs, the idea of using rotating discs to create fine and uniform particles was introduced 60 years ago.
